Mr. Kirsten co-manages the risk management group that is responsible for the portfolio monitoring and reporting function at PCG Asset Management. Prior to joining PCG AM, Mr. Kirsten spent a combined eight years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas, Texas, and Pretoria, South Africa. In Dallas, he was an audit manager and focused on the financial statement audit of hedge funds and other alternative investment vehicles. Most recently, he was a Fund Controller at Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs company, and reported to the Merchant Bank division of Goldman Sachs. At Archon he was responsible for the financial reporting of private equity and mezzanine debt funds. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Pretoria and his Honors Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of South Africa. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
